About American Councils Senegal

Dakar is the capital city of Senegal, the western-most point of continental Africa, and home to American Councils Senegal since 2015. Today, AC Senegal offers programming for high school exchange students from Senegal and the US.
AC Senegal cooperates with the US Embassy, American Corners, the Ministry of Education, as well as many local high schools, universities, and NGOs.

About American Councils

Since 1974, our educational portfolio has grown to include 90 countries important to national security, prosperity, and peace. Our programs are backed by thorough research to ensure their quality and integrity. To date, we have built a community of more than 94,000 alumni, including national leaders, ministers, members of parliament, ambassadors, and CEOs.
